Keep Your Great Ideas Alive!

Keep Your Great Ideas Alive!

Why do great ideas fail to materialized?

The human species are genetically equipped to generate ideas to create a better life.   However, before one idea is fully realized another idea may present itself resulting in a lack of FOCUS and misdirection.  So, great ideas are choked up by the weeds of other ideas never given the opportunity for growth.

How can you stop at one idea at a time?

As dreamers it is difficult to stop at one dream.  However, the human brain is very intelligent and once trained, can direct energy and focus on making what is most important become a reality.  The trick is, identifying all the benefits and probabilities of materializing an idea, then taking the necessary steps or ACTION.

Successful professionals and organisations are not more special than any individual.  Their secret is available to all. There is a special method that most apply whether they are aware of it or not that helps them become successful.  This method is known as “The Action Method”.

If you reach this far read on to know more about THE ACTION METHOD!

The Action Method can help you successfully build YOUR Great Idea into a reality.  This Great Idea was developed by Scott Belsky with the aim to create a system that not only captures IDEAS and TASKS but also provides a framework for executing Actionable Item EFFECTIVELY.

This is a Synopsis of the Action Method.

The First step is to Treat your idea as a PROJECT.  What does it mean to treat your idea as a project?  Every project has a scope of work and a time frame.  The Action Method aim to help you organise your ideas and develop a plan of action to execute it.

However, before you can Act, Belsky identified three primary components that is necessary in developing your idea: Action Steps, References and Backburner Items.

Action Steps are the specific tasks that would push you forward.  The clearer and concrete these steps are the less difficult it will be to execute.

References are any resources, manual, sites, discussions that you may want to refer to.  References are very important as these resources will assist and guide your decision makings.

Backburner Items.   These are part of the scope of works but will need action later on in the project.

Remember if you believe in yourself and your great idea, you can keep it alive by turning it into a reality.  You only fail, if you fail to try.
